Cayman Brac Power and Light Company Limited (CBP&L)

CBP&L has a Licence for the Generation and Transmission and Distribution of electricity in both Cayman Brac and Little Cayman.  On Cayman Brac, CBP&L has 13 megawatts (MW) of generating capacity and 30 miles of 13 kilovolt (KV) high-voltage overhead lines. The current 2011 peak load for Cayman Brac is 3.2 MW and 2010 electricity sales were 15.5 gigawatt-hours (GWh).  On Little Cayman, CBP&L has 3.5 MW of generating capacity with 20 miles of 13 KV high-voltage overhead lines. The current 2011 peak load for Little Cayman is 0.8 MW and electricity sales in 2010 were approximately 3.2 GWh.
